FreightSafe Warranty for your Truckit booking.
The FreightSafe Warranty is built into every booking on Truckit.net. Up to $2,500 of cover against loss or damage, no excess, no paperwork, no opting in.
What the Warranty gives you
Providing you with peace of mind when things don't go to plan.
Built into the price of every booking, the FreightSafe Warranty is not insurance. It is Truckit's way of protecting you on every job, up to the limit for your category. If your goods are worth more than that limit, arrange separate transit insurance for the difference.
Automatic on every job
Applies to every consignment booked and paid through Truckit.net. Nothing to select, nothing extra to do.
No excess
If you claim, there is no excess to pay. Ever.
Up to $2,500 cover
Cover of $500, $1,500 or $2,500 per consignment, set by the category of goods.
Independent claims
Claims are assessed by FreightSafe, specialist third-party claims managers, and typically managed within 5 days.
The difference
Your personal effects are covered too.
Most transport providers exclude personal effects altogether. On Truckit.net, the FreightSafe Warranty extends to clothing, household items and other personal belongings, valued at their depreciated market value, with the same limits and conditions as any other consignment.
